Liminal Bridges by Camilonwe of Alinor is a deliberately difficult academic treatise on travel between Mundus and Oblivion. Behind the jargon, its point is that lasting gates require sigil stones – artefacts that can only be obtained by dealing with Daedric princes – which makes such gates both rare and dangerous. Fans of Oblivion will recognise the idea.
