The Refugees by Geros Albreigh takes place among wounded soldiers and civilians hiding in a cellar beneath a brothel while a battle rages outside. A dying woman gives birth, and her words – and the baby’s name, Mankar – hint at the future leader of the Mythic Dawn, the cult behind Oblivion’s crisis.
Skill book
The Refugees is a Light Armor skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Light Armor skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.
Notes
Mankar Camoran is the villain of Oblivion’s main quest.
