The Dwarven Greatsword is a heavy two-handed blade built from Dwemer metal. It sits in the dwarven tier, above orcish and below elven gear, dealing 19 base damage at a weight of 19 and a value of 270 gold.
Its bronze-gold finish makes it easy to spot, and it is one of the better greatswords you can get your hands on in the early-to-mid game. It goes nicely with Dwarven Armor.

Where to find
- Unenchanted copies appear from level 12 and enchanted ones from level 13.
- Sold by blacksmiths and general goods merchants, and carried by various enemies.
- Random loot in chests and a common world item in Dwemer ruins.
- Ronthil sells them at Castle Volkihar (Dawnguard).
- One sits in a display case in Kodlak Whitemane‘s room in Jorrvaskr, if you have sticky fingers.
