Transmute (in full, Transmute Mineral Ore) turns one piece of iron ore in your inventory into silver ore, or silver ore into gold ore. Silver gets upgraded first. It’s a handy way to turn cheap ore into valuable ingots for jewellery, and even stolen ore loses its stolen tag in the process.
Tips
If you only want silver (for silver jewellery with gems), empty your inventory of silver ore between casts. When you have no ore at all, the spell simply tells you so.
