Venison Chop

A salted, cooked cut of deer meat that restores 5 Health, made from Venison at any cooking pot or spit.

Venison Chop is a thick cut of deer meat, salted and cooked over a fire. Hunters across Skyrim end up with plenty of venison, and this is the simplest way to turn it into a meal. The recipe is known from the start of the game and needs no skill to prepare.

Effects

Eating it restores 5 Health. It is a plain instant restore and, at 2 weight, one of the heavier foods to carry for such a small heal, so it is best eaten soon after cooking rather than hauled around.

How to make it

Where to find it

Cook it at any cooking place, such as in Riverwood, at Embershard Mine or in Whiterun.

Venison goes much further in Venison Stew, which adds salt, potato and leek and gives Stamina plus a twelve-minute Health and Stamina regeneration effect.
