Lob is an Orsimer (Orc) living in the stronghold of Largashbur. He is the apprentice of the blacksmith Garakh, who hopes he will one day take over her forge – but if you help the tribe, he’d rather swing big weapons at your side.

Around Largashbur, near the forge and the longhouse.
Quests
Lob has no quest of his own, but his fate is tied to The Cursed Tribe. Giants attack the stronghold during the quest, and Lob can be killed in the fighting, so keep an eye on him if you want him as a companion later.
Follower & marriage
Once The Cursed Tribe is finished, Lob can be recruited as a follower. He is a solid fighter who uses any two-handed weapon he can get his hands on and prefers light armour. He can also serve as a steward in your home (Hearthfire), and he is one of the characters who can be recruited into the Blades.
If he refuses to follow you, telling him it’s time to part ways and then asking him to join again may fix it.
Personality & relationships
Garakh speaks of him with pride as the one who will carry on the tribe’s smithing traditions. If he dies after the quest, a courier will deliver a Letter of Inheritance, a sign that he counts you as a friend.
