Edla is a Nord of the Skaal living in Skaal Village on Solstheim (Dragonborn). She is the village’s trader, offering home-baked bread, vegetables from Finna‘s garden and plants gathered for potion-making. She lost her husband many winters ago and still feels it.
Where to find them
She lives and trades in Skaal Village. Until The Fate of the Skaal is finished, she is one of the entranced villagers labouring on the structure around the Wind Stone.
Quests
In Nikulas’ Future she asks you to talk her son Nikulas out of his dreams of becoming an adventurer and persuade him to stay home. Manage it and she rewards you with ingredients. She is also among the Skaal who watch the village elder Storn Crag-Strider read the Black Book, and she bids him farewell afterwards.
Services
Edla trades mostly in goods from the village and the land around it – food and alchemy ingredients – so she is handy when you need something for a potion.
Personality & relationships
Kind, practical and a little protective. She explains that hunters pass through the village and that the Dark Elves of Raven Rock sometimes bring spices, cloth and ores the island lacks – the Skaal may live simply, but they don’t say no to a luxury now and then. Her main worry is Nikulas, who finds Skaal life dull and wants glory elsewhere.
