Brelyna Maryon is a Dunmer apprentice at the College of Winterhold. She comes from a line of powerful House Telvanni mages and enjoys the freedom of studying at her own pace, far from her family’s high expectations – even if her spells sometimes go a little wrong.
How to recruit Brelyna
Help her with “Brelyna’s Practice”. She wants to try a few new spells – on you. Let her cast them (the effects are harmless, if occasionally embarrassing), and she becomes a follower.
As a follower
Brelyna is a support mage with Alteration, Illusion and Conjuration, plus decent Sneak. She levels with you up to level 30 and is a good pick for a sneaky or spellcasting character.
Marriage and more
- Marriage: yes, after her quest.
- Steward: can look after a Hearthfire homestead.
- Blades: can be recruited into the Blades.
Where to find her
Brelyna has her quarters in the Hall of Attainment, alongside fellow apprentices J’zargo and Onmund.
