Breathing Water by Haliel Myrm follows a smuggler in Morrowind who hunts down the sorceress Seryne Relas and offers her gold to teach him the spell of breathing water. She mocks him, then sets him a lesson he doesn’t quite understand. The story has a dark, ironic ending on the wharfs of Vivec.
Skill book
Breathing Water is a Alteration skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Alteration skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.
