Faida is a Nord innkeeper who owns and runs the Four Shields Tavern in Dragon Bridge. Her food is honest rather than fancy, and she is the first to admit it. Lately her guests have mostly been soldiers, which she is not thrilled about.
Where to find them
She is at the Four Shields Tavern, the only inn in Dragon Bridge, where she also takes on Julienne Lylvieve as her apprentice in the innkeeping trade.
Quests
During A False Front (the Stormcloak version), Faida is one of two innkeepers you can ask about an Imperial courier, the other being Mralki in Rorikstead. She will play dumb at first, but a bribe or a bit of muscle gets her talking.
She also appears at the start of Breaching Security, giving Gaius Maro an emotional send-off before he leaves to inspect the cities.
Services
Faida sells food and drink and rents out a room.
Personality & relationships
Faida and Gaius seem to be romantically involved: she tells him she is proud of him and he had better come back to her. Oddly, she bears you no grudge if he never does. She has a soft spot for the Lylvieve family, whom she calls the heart of Dragon Bridge, and she feels sorry for Horgeir, the only person in town who does not know his wife Olda is cheating on him. Ask her about magic and she will point you to the College of Winterhold, since most Nords look down on it. She also reckons the dragons have come to test whether Nords are still true Nords.
Good to know
Kill Corpulus Vinius and Faida may hire thugs to come after you.
