Three Thieves opens in a tavern, where the old hand Lledos complains that thieves these days have no technique. He plans a raid on the Cobblers Guildhall vault and lectures his rough partner Imalyn and the calm Galsiah on doing it with style. The job goes ahead, and the final scene shows which of the three really learned the lesson.
