Salmon Steak

A salted, cooked fillet of salmon that restores 5 Health, made from Salmon Meat at any cooking pot or spit.

Salmon Steak is a simple fish dish: a fillet of salmon seasoned with salt and cooked over a fire. As with every Skyrim recipe, it is known from the start, and cooking needs no skill, so any character with salmon meat and salt can make it.

Effects

Eating it restores 5 Health. It is a plain instant restore, on the low end even for cooked food, but at just 0.1 weight it costs almost nothing to carry a stack.

Good to know

The game contains two versions of Salmon Steak: the original (00064B3B) and a second copy added by the Hearthfire add-on (xx003541). Both have the same weight, value and effect, and Hearthfire also gives the cooked recipe a new look.
