Fortify Conjuration Potions

Conjurer’s potions make conjuration spells last longer, from 25% to 100% extra time, keeping summoned allies and bound weapons around for a full minute more.

The Conjurer’s line of potions stretches the duration of your conjuration magic. For 60 seconds after drinking, every conjuration spell you cast lasts longer, which means a summoned atronach or a bound weapon stays with you for a much bigger part of the fight before it fades. Summoners who rely on the Conjuration school get the most out of them, especially in long dungeon brawls where recasting would otherwise eat into your magicka.

All tiers

Name Effect Value Weight Form ID
Conjurer’s Potion Conjuration spells last 25% longer for 60 seconds 96 0.5 0003eb37
Conjurer’s Draught Conjuration spells last 50% longer for 60 seconds 132 0.5 000398ad
Conjurer’s Philter Conjuration spells last 75% longer for 60 seconds 207 0.5 000398ec
Conjurer’s Elixir Conjuration spells last 100% longer for 60 seconds 284 0.5 000398ed

The duration of the potion itself is always 60 seconds; only the bonus grows with each tier. The Elixir doubles the time your conjurations stay active.

Where to find them

Like most stock potions in Skyrim, these are leveled: the stronger versions turn up more often as the Dragonborn gains levels. They can be bought from merchants who deal in potions, found as loot in dungeons and on enemies, or simply made at an alchemy lab.

Brewing your own

With the Alchemy skill you can make Fortify Conjuration potions from these ingredients: Berit’s Ashes, Blue Butterfly Wing, Blue Mountain Flower, Bone Meal, Frost Salts, Hagraven Feathers, Lavender. Any two ingredients that share an effect will combine into a potion at an alchemy lab. If you are unsure what an ingredient does, eating one reveals one of its hidden effects, and the Experimenter perk reveals more per bite, so you can later pick the effect straight from the lab menu instead of guessing.

Tips

Drink the potion just before you summon, not after: the bonus applies to spells cast while it is active. Since the effect lasts a full minute, one dose can cover a summon and a backup cast if the first creature falls.
