Stenvar is a Nord mercenary who waits for work on the upper floor of Candlehearth Hall in Windhelm. He is a straightforward, no-frills sellsword – and refreshingly direct if you show up wearing an Amulet of Mara.
How to recruit Stenvar
Pay him the standard mercenary fee of 500 gold.
As a follower
Stenvar is a heavy-armored two-handed warrior with good Archery and Block, levelling with you up to level 40. He is a strong frontline fighter for mages and archers.
Marriage and more
- Marriage: yes, once you have hired him. Like all spouses, he can open a small shop and share the daily earnings with you.
- Blades: can be recruited into the Blades.
Good to know
As a mercenary, Stenvar does not mind a little lawbreaking.
