Vorstag is a Nord mercenary you will find sitting by the fire in the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth. He is eager to explore – “Looks like a cave. Think we should check it out?” – but he hates mines, which he considers dangerous and full of poisonous gas.
How to recruit Vorstag
Pay him the standard mercenary fee of 500 gold. He is available at any time.
As a follower
Vorstag is a heavy-armored one-handed warrior with good Archery and Block, levelling with you up to level 40. He knows a surprising amount about Dwemer traps and will comment on them in Dwemer ruins.
Marriage and more
- Marriage: yes, once you have hired him.
- Blades: can be recruited into the Blades.
Good to know
As a mercenary, Vorstag does not mind a little lawbreaking.
