Snorreid is a Nord who works at the East Empire Company Warehouse in Solitude, at least officially. In practice his job appears to be sleeping. He naps at every hour of the day and only gets up if a fight breaks out.
Where to find them
He lies on his bedroll inside the warehouse, pretty much permanently.
Personality & relationships
Talk to him and he mumbles that you are not supposed to be in here, without bothering to get up. His mouth moves while he stays asleep, which is unusual: most people in Skyrim climb out of bed when you start a conversation. Snorreid has clearly decided that guarding a warehouse is something you can do lying down.
Good to know
His bedroll is close to the room holding the East Empire Shipping Map you need in the Thieves Guild quest “Litany of Larceny”, so mind your step. Despite working there, the game files count him as part of Solitude rather than the East Empire Company, so even his employer seems unsure about him. He shares the building with the East Empire Dockmaster.
