Skuli is a Nord boy living at Old Hroldan Inn in Old Hroldan, east of Markarth. His mother Eydis owns the inn, and Skuli is one of the very few children in Skyrim who will actually trade with you.
Where to find them
He’s at the inn, doing chores for his mother. Sit down on a bench or chair and Eydis will tell him to look alive, at which point he runs over to serve you.

Personality & relationships
Skuli is very much a little adult. He’ll proudly tell you he changed the linens himself, warns that drunks get thrown out, and won’t stand for any cheek from a stranger. Ask about magic and he tells you it’s dangerous, then suggests the College in Winterhold, or the Jarl’s wizard, who is a lot closer. His father is Firir, who Eydis claims is away at war, although Skuli has noticed she can’t decide which side his father is supposedly fighting for. Leontius Salvius also works at the inn.
Good to know
If both Eydis and Leontius are dead, Skuli may become available for adoption (Hearthfire).
