Niyya is a Redguard woman you meet on Solstheim (Dragonborn). She was one of a group of miners digging in Highpoint Tower when they found the injured Ildari Sarothril and nursed her back to health. Ildari repaid them by attacking them as they slept, killing several and keeping the rest for her experiments. By the time you arrive, Niyya is the only one left.
Where to find them
During Old Friends she sits locked in the prison area of Highpoint Tower. Free her and she heads for Raven Rock, where you may later find her at The Retching Netch, assuming she survives the journey.
Quests
In Old Friends she explains what Ildari did, adds that the voices in Ildari’s head had convinced her Niyya was a traitor saving a special fate for last, and asks you not to give her captor a quick death. She plans to leave on the first boat to the mainland. After that she only has generic dialogue.
Good to know
She is fragile, and the walk home is risky. Clear any ash spawn you sneaked past, consider dealing with the reaver camp at Brodir Grove first, and watch out for loose rocks from triggered traps, which can be enough to kill her.
