Eisa Blackthorn is a Nord bandit with a bad habit of being on the wrong side of her own gang. You meet her outside Frostmere Crypt in Hjaalmarch, where her former comrades are trying to kill her.
Where to find them
She first appears at the entrance of Frostmere Crypt. Once the fight is over she heads for the inn in Morthal, though a random encounter on the road can cut that trip short.
Quests
Eisa’s story kicks off The Pale Lady. A friend of hers lost his mind and ran off with the gang leader’s sword, and the rest of the bandits decided she was in on it. If she survives, she tells you about the stolen blade and that you’re welcome to go after it; she’s done with the whole lot. You get the quest whether or not you help her, and even killing her and reading her journal starts it.
Personality & relationships
Eisa is blunt and short on patience, threatening to cut you down before you’ve said a word. Her journal, along with Hajvarr’s, reveals that she and Ra’jirr used to ride with the White River Gang and were the only survivors of a failed mutiny at White River Watch. She has also done time in Cidhna Mine.
Good to know
Don’t try to be nice with healing spells: she treats them as an attack and fights back. If the encounter glitches and she stands alone without dialogue, you can still get the quest by reading the journal in her inventory.
