The Battle of Red Mountain is presented as Lord Vivec’s own account, told to a dissident priest. He describes how the Chimer and Dwemer united against the Nords, the war that followed, the death of Nerevar and the rise of the Tribunal – and he ends with a thinly veiled threat to the priest. It’s a key text for the backstory of Morrowind.
