The Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow is the most powerful ranged weapon of the Dawnguard add-on. It hits as hard as a Dwarven crossbow and ignores half of the target’s armor.
How to get it
Sorine Jurard sells it at Fort Dawnguard once you’ve completed the last of the six “Ancient Technology” quests, and she can teach you to make it. This isn’t available if you sided with Harkon in Bloodline.
Crafting
Needs Dwarven Smithing and the schematic, and must be made at the forge in Fort Dawnguard:
- 1 Dwarven Crossbow
- 2 Quicksilver Ingots
Effect
Attacks ignore 50% of armor. That’s an innate effect, so you can still enchant it normally.
Stats
22 damage, 21 weight – the highest damage of any archery weapon against heavily armored enemies, and the heaviest.
Smithing
Dwarven Metal Ingot; benefits from Dwarven Smithing.
