Babette looks like a little Breton girl. She is not. She’s a vampire who has spent a very long time in that small body, and a full member of the Dark Brotherhood. Her trick on contracts is simple: nobody suspects the lost child until it’s far too late.
Role in the Dark Brotherhood
You meet her in the Falkreath Sanctuary with the rest of the family. She’s one of the survivors in “Death Incarnate” and moves on with Nazir to the Dawnstar Sanctuary afterwards, where she still sells potions and ingredients.
In Dawnguard
With Dawnguard installed she can also turn up as a random encounter in the wilderness, out looking for a “snack”.
