Azura’s Star is a soul gem that never breaks. Fill it, use the soul, fill it again – forever. For anyone who enchants or keeps enchanted weapons charged, it’s one of the most useful items in Skyrim.
How to get it
It’s one of two possible rewards for “The Black Star”. Azura’s priestess Aranea Ienith, at the Shrine of Azura near Winterhold, sends you to recover the broken star. At the end you choose who to bring it to:
- Aranea → Azura’s Star (white souls only).
- The mage Nelacar → The Black Star (black and white souls).
What it does
A reusable grand soul gem for white souls – creatures and animals, not people. Perfect partner for the Mace of Molag Bal or any Soul Trap weapon.
How to get it
Reward for "The Black Star" if you return the star to Aranea Ienith.
