Delvin Mallory

Delvin Mallory is a Breton thief and one of the senior members of the Thieves Guild, usually found in the Ragged Flagon beneath Riften. If you want work, Delvin has it – and if you want to get better at sneaking, he trains that too.

What he offers

• Special jobs that help rebuild the guild’s influence across Skyrim’s cities, plus city-specific tasks like the Numbers, Fishing and Bedlam jobs.
• Rare treasures: he buys special stolen items such as the Queen Bee Statue, Honningbrew Decanter and Bust of the Gray Fox, which then go on display in the Cistern.
• Sneak training.
• Upgrades for the Dark Brotherhood’s Dawnstar Sanctuary, if you’re a member of both organisations.

Good to know

Delvin wrote the guild’s guide to shadowmarks, the secret signs that tell thieves which houses are worth robbing and which to avoid. He is the brother of Glover Mallory – and, without knowing it, the uncle of the guild member Sapphire.
