Derkeethus is an Argonian miner from the Goldenrock Mine in Darkwater Crossing, Eastmarch. He went off looking for good fish in the pools near the falls – and never came back. The villagers miss him, especially young Hrefna, whom he used to take diving in the river.
How to recruit Derkeethus
Complete “Extracting an Argonian”. Ask around Darkwater Crossing and you will learn he is missing. You find him in Darkwater Pass, held captive by the Falmer. Free him and escort him out, and he will gladly follow you afterwards.
As a follower
Derkeethus is a ranger with Archery, Light Armor, Block and One-Handed, levelling with you up to level 30. He starts with a pickaxe and a hunting bow – give him better gear and he does much better. He will not help with crimes.
