Snowberry Crostata

A Hearthfire oven tart of snowberries, butter and flour that restores 10 Health and briefly gives a small fire resistance.

The Snowberry Crostata is an open fruit tart added by Hearthfire (Hearthfire), filled with the pale berries that grow in Skyrim’s cold north. It has a base value of 5 gold and weighs 0.2.

Effects

  • Restores 10 points of Health.
  • Resist 4% of fire damage for 60 seconds.

The Health part is instant and decent for food. The fire resistance is small and short, so it will not save you from a dragon on its own,. For real protection, use Resist Fire potions.

How to make it

The crostata is baked in an oven, which you build in a Hearthfire home. One bake needs:

The result is one Snowberry Crostata. It is one of the simpler oven recipes, with no salt, milk or egg.

Where to find it

Baking it yourself is the dependable source.

Good to know

The oven has two sister tarts, the Jazbay Crostata and the Juniper Berry Crostata, each made with a different berry.
