The Last Scabbard of Akrash by Tabar Vunqidh is set in the city of Tear in 3E 407. For weeks a veiled young Dunmer woman visits a master armorer every afternoon and the neighbourhood gossips about it. Only later, over too much drink in a tavern, does the armorer tell what she actually commissioned – and the story ends with a grim public scene that he alone fully understands.
