Herbalist’s Guide to Skyrim

An Alchemy skill book: a travelling herbalist’s notes on Skyrim’s best ingredients.

Agneta Falia’s Herbalist’s Guide to Skyrim is a short field guide to the province’s alchemical plants and creature parts – Bleeding Crown, Deathbell, Hagraven Claw, Jazbay Grapes, Luna Moth Wing, Nightshade and more. She describes where each grows and hints at useful combinations, which makes it one of the few in-game books that actually helps you brew.

Skill book

Herbalist’s Guide to Skyrim is a Alchemy skill book. The first time you read a copy, your Alchemy skill goes up by one point – later copies of the same title don’t give anything extra, so there is no need to carry them around.

Notes

Its quotes appear on many of our ingredient pages – it’s the in-game source for several pairing tips.
