Miraak’s Sword, also called the Firstblade, belongs to Miraak, the First Dragonborn and villain of the Dragonborn add-on. Its blade writhes with tentacles and a green eye peers out from the base – about as Hermaeus Mora as a sword can get.
How to get it
Take it from Miraak’s skeletal remains, together with his staff and outfit, after defeating him at the end of “At the Summit of Apocrypha”.
Leveled stats
- Level 1–44: 12 damage, 410 gold
- Level 45–59: 14 damage, 720 gold
- Level 60+: 16 damage, 1,250 gold
Every version weighs just 3, making it one of the lightest swords in the game.
Enchantment
Absorb 15 points of stamina. The charge is tiny – a petty soul gem refills it – and when it’s empty, the tentacle effect stops. The tentacles are purely cosmetic; they don’t extend your reach.
Smithing
Ebony Ingot and a Daedra Heart (Arcane Blacksmith). Benefits from Dwarven Smithing.
