Merryfair Farm is a modest homestead on the northern shore of Lake Honrich, just northwest of Riften Stables and only a short walk from Riften itself. It belongs to the married couple Dravin and Synda Llanith, who live off wheat, cabbages and gourds, plus whatever a cow and a chicken can contribute. No dungeon, no dragon – just honest farm work and a man who really wants his bow back.

Quests
- Bow to the Master – Dravin tells you the farm was recently burgled and his bow was among the stolen goods. He blames the Thieves Guild and believes the bow is stashed somewhere in the Ratways under Riften. Find it and bring it home.
- Harvesting crops – a simple favour: pick produce from the fields and sell it to Synda.
Tips
Harvesting and selling crops to Synda is a gentle way to pick up a little coin early on, and the egg nests are worth a quick look if you cook or brew. Bow to the Master pairs nicely with any trip into Riften’s underbelly – if you are already heading down into the Ratways for other business, pick up the bow on the way. Just try not to think too hard about the fact that the people who stole it might be your future colleagues.
