Steamed Mudcrab Legs

Mudcrab legs steamed with butter (Hearthfire), a light dish that restores 12 Health and is cooked at any cooking pot.

Steamed Mudcrab Legs is a seafood dish added by the Hearthfire add-on: the legs of a mudcrab cooked with a knob of butter. It is one of the few cooking-pot recipes that needs no salt at all.

Effects

Eating it restores 12 Health instantly. That is a strong heal for a single-ingredient meat dish, beating the five to ten points most basic cooked meats provide, and the 0.1 weight makes it easy to carry several.

Where to find it

Cook it yourself at any cooking place, such as those in Riverwood and Whiterun. Our sources list no fixed locations or vendors for the finished dish.

Good to know

Mudcrabs also yield Mudcrab Chitin, an alchemy ingredient, so the creature is worth harvesting for more than just its legs.
