Lavender Dumpling

A sweet Hearthfire pastry of lavender, snowberries and moon sugar that heals slightly and briefly boosts Magicka and magic resistance.

The Lavender Dumpling is a fragrant Hearthfire (Hearthfire) bake that mixes flowers, berries and sugar into a small pastry. It is the most involved of the dumpling recipes, and its effects lean towards spellcasters and anyone facing hostile mages.

Effects

  • Restores 5 Health
  • Magicka increased by 10 points for 60 seconds
  • Resist 10% of magic for 60 seconds

None of these numbers is large, but together they make a handy snack to eat just before a fight with spellcasters: a little extra Magicka for your own spells and a small cut to incoming magic damage for one minute.

How to make it

Bake it at a Hearthfire home oven, such as the ones built in Lakeview Manor, Windstad Manor or Heljarchen Hall. One batch gives one dumpling and needs:

Where to find it

Only the oven recipe is documented in the sources for this page. Note that Moon Sugar, Snowberries and Lavender are alchemy ingredients, so baking uses up items you could otherwise put into potions.
