Yag gra-Gortwog was an Orc sellsword hired by the expedition to the Dwemer ruin of Alftand. Her job, according to the expedition’s manifest, was to keep the workers in line – which turned out to be the least of anyone’s problems.
Where to find them
Her body lies outside the Alftand Animonculory, on the spiral path that winds down to the bottom of the ruin.
Quests
You come across her corpse during Elder Knowledge as you descend towards the Great Lift.
Personality & relationships
Her end is told through Endrast’s journal. Yag and several others were grabbed by the Falmer while they slept and locked in a cell. They managed to break out, but the Falmer caught up with them, and Yag stood her ground to buy Endrast time to run. Not bad for someone hired as a glorified foreman.
Her companions on the doomed dig included Umana, Valie and J’zhar, none of whom fared much better.
Good to know
- Her armor and weapons are leveled, so what you loot from her scales with you.
