Valie was a High Elf who dabbled in both magic and thievery. She came from Windhelm, had ties to that city’s criminal underworld, and joined the expedition to the Dwemer ruin of Alftand along with Sulla, Umana, J’zhar, J’darr, Yag gra-Gortwog and Endrast.
Where to find them
Her corpse lies on top of a table in the torture room inside the Alftand Animonculory. It is not a pretty sight, and it is a fair warning of what lives further down.
Quests
You will pass her remains while working your way through Alftand during Elder Knowledge.
Personality & relationships
We do not learn much about Valie as a person. What we do know is how her story ended: a storm drove the group into the ruins, and once inside, Valie was snatched by the Falmer and killed. Her fate fits the pattern other members of the expedition describe in their journals, with people quietly disappearing in the night.
Good to know
- Her body may sometimes fail to show up in the torture room.
