Skaggi Scar-Face is a Nord who runs Left Hand Mine, a small iron mine outside Markarth in The Reach. He is married to Sosia Tremellia and keeps a firm hand on his little mining camp.
Where to find them
He lives and works at Left Hand Mine, where he has his own house.
Services
Skaggi lets anyone grab a pickaxe and dig, and he buys iron ore at full price, 7 gold a piece. Not a fortune, but honest work.
Quests
When Pavo Attius and Gat stagger in as the only survivors of a Forsworn raid on nearby Kolskeggr Mine, Skaggi takes them in and promises to send word to the Jarl. Ask him about it and you can offer to deal with the Forsworn yourself, starting the Kolskeggr Mine quest. He doubts one person can handle them, but admits everyone would sleep easier. You can also skip him and get the job straight from Pavo.
Personality & relationships
Skaggi is blunt and to the point: he has little to say unless you are there to mine. He worries the Forsworn will hit his mine next and grumbles about extra mouths to feed when the survivors arrive. Still, he has a softer side. He tells his worker Daighre that he is glad she stayed, and she in turn apologises for the trouble her daughter causes him.
