Perth is a Breton miner who runs Soljund’s Sinkhole together with his coworker Tuthul. The mine had a promising future right up until the miners broke through into an old Nordic crypt full of draugr, which has put a serious damper on productivity. Like many local Bretons, he wears warpaint.
Where to find them
He hangs around outside Soljund’s Sinkhole, warning travelers away from the entrance until the mine is safe again, and gets back to work inside once it is.

Perth wants Soljund’s Sinkhole cleared of draugr. He’s been waiting for the Jarl to send a regiment, and doesn’t sound hopeful it will ever turn up. Kill the undead yourself and he thanks you and gets the crew digging again.

Follower & marriage
Perth is a marriage candidate. As with other candidates, you court him by talking to him while wearing an Amulet of Mara once he thinks well enough of you; clearing his draugr problem is the natural way to get on his good side.
Personality & relationships
Perth is the practical half of the operation. With a war on, he points out, every scrap of ore counts, and he finds it a waste to leave a mine full of it untouched. Tuthul, on the other hand, is convinced the draugr will come back any minute to rip their faces off, and the two bicker constantly about it. Perth’s answer is always the same: steady your nerves, stop being a coward, and dig.
