Fultheim is a Nord who has more or less moved into the Nightgate Inn. According to the innkeeper Hadring, he’s there to drink away a lifetime of bad memories. Fultheim himself will tell you the beds and beer are both bad, but it’s the only inn around, so he keeps coming back.
Where to find them
Fultheim is usually at the Nightgate Inn with a drink in hand. Hadring counts him as practically his only regular customer.
Quests
During the Dark Brotherhood contract Recipe for Disaster you can ask him about the inn’s other long-term guest, the Orc Balagog gro-Nolob. Fultheim’s answer is surprisingly thoughtful: the Orc likes people and would like to talk, but keeps to himself because he’s supposed to.
Personality & relationships
Fultheim is gruff, sarcastic and not in the mood for company. Ask a dull question and you’ll get a sharp answer. Walk away mid-chat and he complains that he was talking.
Good to know
Fultheim carries a Blades sword. He’s the only character outside the Blades themselves who wields one. The game never says how he got it, which fits a man drowning old memories in cheap beer.
