The Ghostblade is a spectral sword from the tragic love story at Ansilvund – one of four unique ghost weapons in Skyrim, and almost weightless.
How to get it
Defeat the necromancer Lu’ah Al-Skaven and the reanimated bodies of Fjori and Holgeir in Ansilvund during the quest “A Love Beyond Death”.
Enchantment
Deals 3 extra points of damage that ignore armor. The effect never runs out and never needs recharging, but it can’t be disenchanted.
Why carry it?
With a weight of just 1, it’s one of the lightest weapons in the game – only the fork and knife weigh less. That makes it a perfect backup sword that you’ll never notice in your pack.
Smithing
Improved with three Ectoplasm (Arcane Blacksmith), but no Smithing perk helps. Pushing it past Flawless needs Fortify Smithing gear or potions.
