Faralda is an Altmer mage of the College of Winterhold, where she teaches Destruction. She’s also the first College member you meet: she stands guard at the bridge and decides whether you’re worth letting in. Her chamber is in the Hall of Countenance.
Getting into the College
To start First Lessons, Faralda asks you to show her some magical ability by casting a spell on a target she chooses. Pass, and you’re in. (There are other ways to persuade her too.)
Services
- Master-level Destruction trainer.
- Destruction spell tome merchant – available after First Lessons.
Good to know
She’s essential and has a low tolerance for criminals, attacking anyone with a bounty in Winterhold or Windhelm.
