Lucia is an Imperial orphan you’ll find sitting on a bench near the Gildergreen in Whiterun, asking passers-by for a coin. After her mother died, her aunt and uncle took over the family farm and threw her out. In Whiterun, the beggar Brenuin was kind to her and taught her to ask the townsfolk for septims.
How to adopt Lucia
- Give her a septim.
- Ask her why she’s begging – she tells you her story.
- Offer to adopt her. You need a home with a furnished child’s bedroom (Hearthfire adoption rules).
She’s thrilled, promises to be the best daughter ever and heads off to your home.
Good to know
- Essential, as all children in Skyrim are.
- She once gave Jarl Balgruuf flowers – and he didn’t even notice.
