Clear Skies is the shout that makes Skyrim’s weather step aside. It’s mostly a quest tool, but there’s something wonderful about shouting a blizzard away on a mountaintop.
How to get it
The Greybeards teach you all three words at High Hrothgar in The Throat of the World, after Alduin’s Wall. You need it to clear the deadly wind on the path up to Paarthurnax.
Good to know
Outside of that path it’s mostly cosmetic: it clears rain, snow and fog for a short while. Handy for screenshots, though.
Effect per word
LOK: clears the weather for 20 seconds.
VAH: 40 seconds.
KOOR: 60 seconds.
