Elenwen is an Altmer – a High Elf – and the First Emissary and Ambassador of the Thalmor in Skyrim. From the Thalmor Embassy outside Solitude, she keeps a close eye on the province, its jarls and anyone who still worships Talos.
Elenwen and Ulfric
Elenwen has a long history with Ulfric Stormcloak. During the Great War, Ulfric was captured by the Thalmor, and Elenwen was his interrogator. The Thalmor files you can read in the embassy reveal just how much they have shaped his later rebellion.
Diplomatic Immunity
In Diplomatic Immunity, Elenwen hosts one of her famous receptions for Skyrim’s rich and powerful. She greets you personally at the party – polite, cold and clearly a little suspicious. While she charms her guests, you break into her private quarters and steal her secret files about the dragons, Delphine and Esbern.
Season Unending
Elenwen also attends the peace council at High Hrothgar in Season Unending, where her presence is about as welcome as a frost troll at a wedding.
Good to know
Elenwen is essential until Season Unending has been completed.
