Potato Bread

A Hearthfire oven loaf made with potato, milk, flour, egg and salt that restores a small 3 points of Health.

Potato Bread is a baked loaf added by Hearthfire (Hearthfire). Mashed potato goes into the dough with milk and egg, which gives a dense, homely bread. It is light at 0.2 weight and has a base value of 2 gold.

Effects

Eating it restores 3 points of Health. It is a plain, instant restore with no timed effect.

Three Health is very little for a baked dish. On its own merits Potato Bread is more of a flavour item than a real healing source, and a Restore Health potion or a stew does far more.

How to make it

Potato Bread is baked in an oven, which you build in a Hearthfire home. One bake needs:

The result is one loaf.

Where to find it

The oven recipe is the dependable source. Five ingredients for 3 Health is a poor trade. If you want healing from your potatoes, Potato Soup or Baked Potatoes are better uses.

Where to find it

  • Baked in a Hearthfire home oven.
