Hadring is a Nord innkeeper who runs the Nightgate Inn, a lonely roadside inn out in the wilds southeast of Dawnstar. The place has been in his family for generations. His great-grandfather built it, and it has passed down the line to him.

- Recipe for Disaster: during this Dark Brotherhood contract, Hadring gives you the scoop on his mysterious Orc tenant, Balagog gro-Nolob. He mangles the name, admires the Orc’s manners, and mentions he has paid for months in advance and wanders between the lake and the wine cellar.
- A False Front: Hadring knows where the Stormcloak courier is. Persuade him, intimidate him or pay him to make him talk.

Personality & relationships
Hadring is a down-to-earth Nord with a deep distrust of magic. Ask him where to learn spells and he tells you he’s seen enough magic to stay well away from it. He warns you off the Jarl’s wizard in Dawnstar and suggests that if you insist on being a fool, you go to the College of Winterhold.
Business is slow. Apart from the odd traveller, his main customers are the heavy-drinking Fultheim and the paying Orc in the cellar. He also passes along a tip about the Shrine of Azura, built by Dunmer who fled Morrowind.
