The Stalhrim Bow is carved from stalhrim, the magical never-melting ice of Solstheim introduced in the Dragonborn add-on. It hits for 17 base damage, the same as an Ebony Bow, while weighing a little less at 15, and it uses the ebony tier of the Smithing tree.
Its real party trick is enchanting. Frost-based enchantments are noticeably stronger on stalhrim gear, so a frost-enchanted Stalhrim Bow is a natural fit for ice-themed archers. For a matching look, see Stalhrim Armor.

Tips and notes
- Forging needs Smithing 80, Ebony Smithing and the quest A New Source of Stalhrim completed. The recipe is three
Stalhrim; tempering uses one more. - Frost Damage enchantments are 25% stronger on stalhrim items, the same boost as the Frost Enchanter perk. It also applies to Chaos Damage.
- That bonus stacks naturally with frost arrows and ice-themed builds.
