Red Eagle’s Fury is the sword of Red Eagle, the legendary Reachman king who fought the armies of Empress Hestra around 1E 1030. It’s the first form of a blade that becomes Red Eagle’s Bane by the end of its quest.
History
Legend says Red Eagle cut down thousands of Imperial soldiers with this sword before he fell. He swore that once the Reach was free, his blade should be returned to his tomb so he could rise and lead his people again.
How to get it
During “The Legend of Red Eagle”, fight your way through Red Eagle Redoubt into the Sundered Towers. A Forsworn Briarheart sitting on a throne next to an altar drops the sword. Then take it to Rebel’s Cairn to continue the quest.
Enchantment
Burns the target for 5 points; targets on fire take extra damage.
Smithing
Steel Ingot with Arcane Blacksmith; benefits from Steel Smithing. Not really worth the effort, since the sword transforms at Rebel’s Cairn anyway.
