First Edition is a short miscellaneous quest from the Dragonborn add-on. Cindiri Arano of Raven Rock had a very special book sent off to be rebound, and it never came back. The precious family heirloom in question? A Lusty Argonian Maid Folio. Priorities are priorities.
How to start
Talk to Cindiri Arano in Raven Rock and ask about what she lost. She explains that she sent the folio to the First Edition Bookshop in the Imperial City for rebinding, and that the ship carrying it back, the Strident Squall, sank just off the coast of Solstheim. A dying survivor crawled to Raven Rock and warned the guards that the wreck was full of reavers.
Agree to look for it. If you back out after hearing about the reavers, she is not impressed with your courage.
Walkthrough
Search the wreck
Travel to the Wreck of the Strident Squall. Expect reavers, as the survivor warned. The Lusty Argonian Maid Folio is below deck, inside the chest.
Return the folio
Bring the book back to Cindiri in Raven Rock. She is overjoyed, says the folio means a lot to her whole family, and hands you a gift as thanks, completing the quest.
If you happened to loot the wreck before meeting her, you can tell her you already have the book the first time she brings it up, which skips straight to the reward.

Tips and notes
- According to Cindiri, this special edition of the folio came from the author of The Lusty Argonian Maid himself, which explains why she treats it like a holy relic.
- Cindiri is one of the Raven Rock residents you can later ask to become Neloth’s steward in Reluctant Steward. She refuses, partly because she would not leave Adril.
- Bring a weapon and some healing: “crawling with reavers” was not an exaggeration.
