Stalleo

Stalleo is a Nord who camps outside Treva’s Watch and hires you to sneak in and retake his family’s fort from Brurid’s bandits in Infiltration.
“I will take back my family’s castle.”

Stalleo is a Nord whose family home is Treva’s Watch, a fort he regards as his family’s personal castle. While he and his men were away fighting in the civil war, his rival Brurid and a large band of outlaws took it over. Stalleo’s attempt to storm it back failed, and now he is left with just two bodyguards and a very bad mood.

Where to find them

He waits in a small camp on the east side of Treva’s Watch. He often stays at the campsite just outside the fort even after the quest is done.

Quests

Stalleo gives Infiltration. He assumes you’re the reinforcements he asked for, and he’d hoped for more of them. The front gate is locked, so you need to sneak in through the mine entrance behind his camp, fight your way to the gate and open it so his little group can join the attack. As payment he offers the posted reward plus anything you want from inside the fort. Once it’s cleared, he asks whether you saw his family. If you didn’t, he hopes they got out in time and sets off to search for them after restocking.

If you turn him down, he puts the blood of his family on your hands as well as Brurid’s.

Personality & relationships

Stalleo is impatient, blunt and focused on his family. He has little time for questions and treats you like a hired sword. He says the bad blood with Brurid started after High King Torygg’s death. Brurid, a rogue mage who deserted at the start of the war, was turned in by Stalleo, escaped and apparently came back for revenge.

Good to know

Stalleo’s appearance is randomly generated, so your Stalleo might be young or old and might wear anything from full armor to almost nothing.
