Medresi Dran is a Dark Elf treasure hunter obsessed with the riches she believes are buried in Angarvunde, an old Nordic tomb. Her hired workers took one look at a chamber full of walking dead and fled, leaving her alone with a key, a plan and no muscle.
Where to find them
She waits just inside Angarvunde, grumbling about her cowardly crew.
Quests
In Medresi Dran and the Wandering Dead she wants you to clear the main chamber of draugr. Agree and she promises to split the treasure – a legend says it grants great power – though she nearly says “mine” instead of “ours”. Refuse and she’ll still give you the key once the chamber is clear. You can also just kill her and take it. Afterwards she follows you to a sealed pair of doors, gives you a key for the side passages and sends you deeper into the ruin to open them.
Once both doors open, she dashes ahead shouting that the treasure is all hers, steps on a pressure plate and is impaled by a spike trap. Whatever you do, she is scripted to die – even players who block the spikes with tricks like Ice Form and healing only see her collapse moments later.
Personality & relationships
Impatient, bossy and blinded by greed, she sees you mainly as brawn to go with her brains. She wrote Medresi’s Notes, the journal outside the tomb detailing her obsession with Angarvunde and getting rich.
Good to know
If you pickpocket her key and open the gate before she reaches it, her death script can break and stall the quest; killing her in front of the opened gate fixes it.
