Anska is a Nord mage on a very personal treasure hunt. After years of searching she has tracked down the tomb of the Dragon Priest Vokun at High Gate Ruins, where she believes a scroll is hidden that traces her family line back to Ysgramor himself.
Where to find them
She waits inside High Gate Ruins, the crypt she has spent years hunting for, and stays around the ruins after the quest.
Quests
Anska starts A Scroll for Anska. She suspects Vokun may be a bit much to handle alone and asks you to come along; you can claim any loot except the scroll. Once you agree, she joins you as a temporary follower for the dive into the tomb. The scroll sits deep inside, past the Dragon Priest himself.
Hand the scroll over and she rewards you with a spell tome for Flaming Familiar, which summons a fiery spirit that charges enemies and explodes. If you pick up the scroll before even speaking to her, she offers to pay for it. Try to keep it, and she will fight you for it. Her excitement is short-lived anyway: the scroll turns out to be encrypted.
Follower & marriage
She only follows you during her quest and cannot be recruited permanently or married.
Personality & relationships
Anska is eager, a little nervous and very focused on her goal. She dismisses Vokun as just some old priest buried here long ago, which is quite the understatement.
Good to know
Killing her before the quest is done makes it fail. She throws fireballs freely, so she sometimes ends up brawling with your current follower. Her body never disappears, which makes her a popular pick for a stored dead thrall.
